Angler, Chuck Larsen, had the opportunity to once again fish the Uruguay River in a section known as La Zona "Home of the Monster Dorado". On January 24th, Chuck landed the dorado of his dreams, a massive 56lbs golden dorado.
The current World Record All Tackle Dorado as recognized by the IGFA was caught by Andre L.S. de Botton on 11-Jan-2006 which weighed in at 55 lb 11 oz. So, if properly weighed, Chuck has a chance of landing a World Record.
