Capt. Francois Helias reported today that he landed his largest to date Jullien's Golden Prized Carp while fishing in the mountains of Luang Probabg Province, Laos.
The monster carp weighed in at 16.48kg.
Fishing conditions were very tough according to Francois as the rainy season is taking place in Laos, thus coloring the rivers reddish color. Francois clients however is a professional photographer and is mainly after area photos with some fishing mixed in between. As mentioned in previous posts, to date the Jullien's Golden Prized Carp is the toughest fighting fish I have landed. Francois hook was bent in half after the battle but luckily landed the monster!
