Pumice Creek Lodge owner, Gary LaRose, notified me that he is extending his silver salmon season an additional 2 weeks in September. Pumice Creek is located on the Alaska Peninsula. Daily flyouts are to the Cinder River for silvers or Lava Creek for char. These are prime weeks for big numbers of big silvers. IN my opinion the Alaska Peninsula offers the best silver salmon fishing in a remote location bar none. Most Peninsula Lodges have a long waiting list during the prime weeks. Act now to get into this great fishing.
